Kristen Doute Reacts to Ex James Kennedy's Domestic Violence Arrest: 'Finally'

Kristen Douteis not hiding her feelings afterJames Kennedy’s arrest.

Doute, 41, who dated her Kennedy between 2014 and 2015 followingher split fromVanderpump Rules' costar Tom Sandoval, shared a post on her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Dec. 12 after news broke that Kennedy, 32,had been arrested inBurbank, Calif. following a 911 call about an argument between him and a woman.

“FINALLY.” Doute wrote as she reshared a post from a Bravo fan page that showed the headline of aTMZstory that revealed Kennedy had been arrested at his home after someone allegedly saw him get physical with an unnamed woman during an argument.

Burbank Police confirmed to PEOPLE that Kennedy was arrested at home on Tuesday, Dec. 10, around 11:30 p.m. “regarding an argument between a man and a woman.”

It is unclear if the woman in question was the DJ’s girlfriendAlly Lewber— who he has been dating since January 2022 — but the pair had been together earlier that night atKathy Hilton’s annual holiday party.

PEOPLE has reached out to Kennedy for comment.

A source told PEOPLE the pair spent much of the night apart and didn’t show much affection toward each other.

TheVanderpump Rulesalum was allegedly “acting super aggressive all night long” at the holiday part on Tuesday, an insider told PEOPLE.

“He was acting so erratic, running back and forth to the bar and body-checking people along the way,” the insider said. “He appeared inebriated. Spent the evening mostly alone but when he did speak to people, he appeared irritated and rude.”
