Kylie Kelce Clears Up the 'Silly' Stories About How She and Taylor Swift Met

Kylie, wife of former Philadelphia Eagles playerJason Kelceand sister-in-law of Kansas City Chiefs tight endTravis Kelce, is set to appear on the Wednesday, Feb. 12 episode of theCall Her Daddypodcast. In a teaser clip released on Tuesday, Feb. 11, thesoon-to-be mother of fourrevealed how she met her brother-in-law’s superstar girlfriend.

In the clip, a surprised Cooper, 30, asked Kylie to confirm once more when she, Jason, 37, and theLoversinger, 35, first met.

“But it was funny to me because I kept saying to people, ‘I didn’t meet Travis for probably close to a year when Jason and I were dating,’ " Kylie said.

“And she’s busy,” Kylie joked, seemingly in reference to the fact that Swift was on the Eras Tour at the time.

“It’s just silly to me that that’s like, a storyline that’s that’s written,” Kylie added.

Cooper added, “I can imagine that’s so annoying… It was also probably a lovely time to meet at a football game.”

Kylie confirmed that the setting to meet the 14-time Grammy winner was “great.”

TheTortured Poets Departmentsingerand Travis sparked dating rumors in September 2023 afterSwift attended a handful of Kelce’s games.

Travis made an appearance at the Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium in July 2023, where hetried — and failed — to give Swift his phone numberafter the show.

The couple later confirmed their relationship in September 2023, after the singer was spotted cheering on the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium. She has since attended several games, including his 2024 and 2025 Super Bowl appearances. Travis also attended more Eras Tour shows during their relationship.

Since Kylie and Jason met Swift over a year ago, the married couple have supported the superstar and Travis' relationship. In April, Kylie saidin a guest spot on theTodayshowthat watching their relationship has been “amazing.”

“Ultimately, if Travis is happy, we’re happy,”Kylie toldTodayshow hostsSavannah GuthrieandHoda Kotb. “We are always cheering on Uncle Trav, it’s such a treat to be able to do that on and off the field.”

Months later, Kylie and Jasonattended their first Eras Tour showon Friday, June 21, at London’s Wembley Stadium — and thenreturned the next day. Once the tour returned to the U.S., Kylie and Jason took their eldest daughtersWyatt, 5, andElliotte, 3, and his mother,Donna, tothe Oct. 18 Miami concert.

At the start of December,a source told PEOPLEthat Kylie, Jason, and their three daughters joined Travis, Swift and her family in Nashville for Thanksgiving. “It was very festive and special,” the insider said.
