Two days later, the rapper — whose real name is Kimberly Denise Jones — went online to double-down on her previous post. “What’s happening is devastating and what LA really needs right now is rain—so what’s the issue?” shewrote on X.
“Doesn’t everyone understand that a monsoon is heavy rain? I’m so happy to see that everyone is staying so positive during such a tragic situation.” Lil' Kim then asked her fans to keep praying and support those in need.
Again, fans had some thoughts about her post. “We know what you meant but heavy rain would cause mudslides, flooding, high winds, or more damage,“one fan pointed out.

“This doesn’t make sense, they have no where to go if it rains! Girl delete this post!“another responded. “Sister we knew you know you had pure intentions! A monsoon isn’t the answer though 😭,“a third added, giving her the benefit of the doubt.
Lil' Kimfollowed up the postwith a screengrab defining what a monsoon is: “a seasonal shift in wind direction that can cause extreme wet or dry weather.”
“For anyone that’s confused. Any questions?” she added. Lil' Kim has yet to follow up her previous posts.
