“This was so funny. One day I had to kiss two actors, one right after the other. So I had to make out with Michael Mancini (Thomas Calabro), and then I had to make out with the guy that played Peter. Oh, f—, what’s his name?” she said, taking a moment to remember Peter was playedJack Wagner.
“And that freaked me out,” she continued. “I thought that was really — I’d never done that before and I’ve never done it since.”

Later in the conversation, Rinna touched on her past costars' hygiene when it comes to more intimate scenes, saying, “I don’t think I’ve ever really had anybody who was just gross.”
“Yeah. Luckily their hygiene was good. So I lucked out there,” she added of all the actors she’s worked with in her career.

Rinna previously told PEOPLE she would “love” to join theMelrose Placereboot, which is currently in development. “I’ve heard about it,” she said when asked about the revival series in April 2024. “I haven’t been approached or anything, but I would love to see what Taylor McBride is up to 25 years later. Wouldn’t that be something?”
“I have to say that was one of my most fun acting experiences, playing Taylor and working withHeather [Locklear]and the whole crew,” Rinna said, adding, “So if they need a Taylor McBride appearance, they know who to call. I’m around.”
During a panel at ’90s Con in Florida in September,Melrose Placestars Locklear, Josie Bissett, Brooke Langton,Laura Leighton,Grant ShowandDaphne Zunigareunited and shared an update on where the revival series stood at the time.
“Everyone has agreed to do it. Laura and I worked on this for a little bit now,” Zuniga, 62, said. “It is in talks. Business affairs and lawyers and all those types are talking about it, and they do want to do it.”

Leighton, 56, added that there were a lot of “moving parts and pieces” involved in getting the series into production, but said the cast is just as keen as the fans. “The stars need to align, but we want it as much as the fans want it,” she told the audience at the event.
Leighton, who played Sydney Andrews in the show, also teased what viewers could expect from the new series. “The idea is what happens to these people 30 years later,” she explained. “There’s all these fan stories, all these great conspiracies and those are just wonderfully creative ideas, an example of everybody’s’ interest in where they would be.”
Zuniga, who portrayed Jo Reynolds, chimed in to agree that when it comes to the show’s famously sensational plot lines, the possibilities are endless for the reboot.
