Maci Bookout Reveals What She Missed Out on as a Teen Mom and How It's Her 'Hope' for 16-Year-Old Son Bentley

Maci Bookout McKinneyis in awe of her teenage son.

The mom of three, 33, is looking back on her journey as a teen mom as she celebrates son Bentley’s 16th birthday. On the latest episode ofTeen Mom: The Next Chapter, Maci and husband Taylor McKinney, along with Bentley’s dadRyan Edwardsand fiancéeAmanda Conner, surprise Bentley with a Jeep as his first truck.

The excited teen thanks everyone before hopping into the car. He asks if anyone wants to get in, at which point all four of his parents do.

“You wanna know something really cool? Last week, all four of us drove like two hours away to pick this puppy up,” Maci tells Bentley.

Later, Bentley thanks everyone again before going off to show his friends the car.

“Look guys, we did a good job,” Maci says as she watches the teens surrounding the truck.

“Y’all did that,” Amanda commends.

“We did,” Maci says.

“Hey T, we did that. Isn’t that cool?” Maci remarks to Taylor as they all laugh together and watch Bentley enjoy his gift.

In a confessional, Maci tearfully looks back at her journey, 16 years later.

“When I got pregnant at 16, everything became a challenge. Everything. That’s what I gave up, being able to be a kid. And that’s a big price to pay,” she shares.

“I hope that I have given Bentley the tools to make different decisions for himself and I hope he has like a whole handful, at least, of years to be completely selfish. That’s what I hope for him.”
