AIMariah Carey? TheQueen of Christmasdoesn’t know her.
The Grammy winner responded to a post onX(formerly Twitter) after fans questioned whether a personalizedSpotify Wrappedmessage was made with artificial intelligence.
“Bad lighting and a red lip have you all thinking this is AI??” Carey, 55, wrote on Dec. 5 before taking the stage at Boston’s TD Garden.
“There’s a reason I’m not a fan of either of those things! About to celebrate #Christmastime with my Boston #lambily! 💘💘💘.”
As part of Spotify Wrapped, many artists made videos for their top listeners. In Carey’s video, she told fans, “Thank you so much for listening to my music on Spotify. Your support through the year is the greatest gift I could ask for.”

She continued, “This year we’re celebrating the 30th anniversary of my albumMerry Christmas. I hope you enjoy listening to it and I can’t wait to share new music with you soon.”

Carey is currently on herChristmas Time tour, which kicked off on Nov. 6. She’s stopping in 20 cities for her festive concert run before wrapping in New York City. Her 13-year-oldtwins Moroccan and Monroeperformed during the intermissionat her Los Angeles show on Nov. 8.As mentioned in her Spotify video, she is also celebrating the 30th anniversary of her 1994 Christmas album — which features"All I Want for Christmas Is You."

The song, which has become a musical staple throughout the holiday season,was inducted into the Library of Congress' National Recording Registryin April 2023.
In December 2023, she released anew music video for the song packed with tour footage.
Most recently, Carey announced exclusively with PEOPLE that she would be taking over SiriusXM’s Holly station on Mondays in December leading up to Christmas forMariah Mondays.
