Matthew Gray Gubler will finally be making his debut onCriminal Minds: Evolution.

“I’ve carried these 3 props with me almost every day for the last 15 years. After tonight I’ll just carry them in my heart where I will forever keep memories of the best crew, the best cast, and the best fands (fans/friends) a fictional crimefighter could ever have,” he wrote in the caption.

Gubler did tease his interest in returning to the show back in September 2023.

“I would be honored. I would absolutely love that,” he said of appearing onCriminal Minds: Evolutionduring an interview on Ireland’sThe Six O’Clock Show, perScreen Rant. “They did a newer spinoff of the show, but it was filming during a time when I was shooting something else. But I can’t wait — hopefully it will soon work out.”
