Just weeks after theSubserviencestar announced onInstagramthat she and MGK areexpecting their first child together, the former couplereportedly broke upin December 2024.

Fox and MGK (real name Colson Baker) met on the set of the indie thrillerMidnight in the Switchgrassin March 2020,and though production was quickly halted due to the pandemic, the pair werespotted spending quality time togethershortly after. That same month, Fox’s ex-husband,Brian Austin Green,confirmed his splitfrom theTransformersalum.

Days later, the rumors hit a fever pitch when Foxappeared as MGK’s love interestin the music video for his single “Bloody Valentine.”

By July 2020, MGK and Fox had confirmed their relationship, giving their first joint interview on theGive Them Lalapodcast where Fox called MGK her “twin flame.”

MGK laterproposed to Foxin January 2022. In the months after, Fox and MGK made several steamy joint red carpet appearances, including at theGrammysin February 2023.

Shortly after the Grammys, Fox sent fans spiraling when she seeminglyhinted that the couple had broken upon Instagram. An insider later said thatthe pair had a fightand Fox is “very upset” and “won’t speak to” MGK.

After the pair were spotted together multiple times in May, asource told PEOPLEthat Fox and MGK had been “spending time together at Megan’s house,” adding, “They seem to have fun and look happy together. Megan only sees him when the kids are with Brian.”

Shortly after, Fox’s then-husband Brian Austin Greenconfirmed the couple’s splitafter nearly 10 years of marriage. On an episode of his…With Brian Austin Greenpodcast, the actor shared that he felt distant from Fox before she left to film ​​Midnight in the Switchgrass.

July 22, 2020: Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly give their first joint interview

Serving as guests onLala Kentand Randall Emmett’s podcast,Give Them Lala … With Randall, Foxrecalled how she reactedafter learning that MGK was cast as her co-star in ​​Midnight in the Switchgrass.

During an appearance onThe Howard Stern Show, MGKspoke about falling in lovewith Fox, revealing he “didn’t know what [love] was until me and her made eye contact.”

“That’s when I was like, ‘Whoa,’ " the rapper shared, adding that Fox changed his perspective on love. “After I made the big chunk of the album, I did fall in love for the first time. Jan. 11, 2022: Machine Gun Kelly proposes to Megan Fox

After more than a year of dating,MGK proposed to Foxin early 2022.

The couple announced their engagement with separateInstagramposts, sharing videos and photos from their proposal in front of a banyan tree they’d first sat under in July 2020.

Fox reflected on their romance in her caption, writing, “Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. For herBritishGlamourcover, Fox offered clarity on her Instagram caption from the couple’s engagement, which stated, “I said yes…and then we drank each other’s blood.”

The actress told the publication that the pair does indeed consume each other’s blood, but for “ritual purposes only.”

“So, I guess to ‘drink’ each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re likeGame of Thrones, drinking each other’s blood. It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only.”

Afterwalking the red carpet together, MGK sparked marriage rumors when hededicated his song “Twin Flame” to Foxahead of his performance atthe Billboard Music Awards. “I wrote this song for my wife,” he said onstage.

Near the end of his emotional performance, MGK took a moment for another dedication, saying, “And this is for our unborn child.”

February 12, 2023: Megan Fox hints at a breakup before deleting her Instagram account

Fox seemed tosuggest that she and MGK had split upin an Instagram post.

The actress shared photos of herself as well as a video of an envelope being burned in a fire pit. She captioned the cryptic post with lyrics fromBeyoncé’s albumLemonade: “You can taste the dishonesty / it’s all over your breath.”
