Meghan Markleis remembering her beloved beagle Guy in her new Netflix show,With Love, Meghan.
“In loving memory of Guy,” reads a tribute at the end of the eighth episode.
Meghan, 43, owned and loved the rescue beagle for a decade, and Guy made several cameos in the Netflix series.
In January, the Duchess of Sussex announced Guy’s death in a heartfelt tribute onInstagram, saying that she had “cried too many tears to count” and sharing why she felt compelled to share the news of his death before the series premiere.
She wrote in the tribute that he was with her for “everything” — “the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort.”
Guy was beside Meghan’s side for much of her series on Netflix, from snoozing in a corner to sampling a homemade dog biscuit.
In episode five, Meghan said, “Guy’s always there — he’s my shadow. He’s been there with me in Toronto, in the U.K., back in Canada and California.”
“Guy has a lot of stories to tell,” Meghan added.
Meghan adopted Guy in 2015 in Canada, where she lived while filmingSuits.The sweet beagle was originally rescued from a Kentucky kill shelter and became such a special part of Meghan’s life that he was front and center whenPrince Harryproposed to her in November 2017.

Guy made the move with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when they relocated from the U.K. to her home state of California in 2020, and the homage Meghan shared following the dog’s death included several emotional moments of Guy with their children, Archie and Lili.
“We love you Guy, yes we do. We love you Guy, and we’ll be true,” Lilibet and Meghan sang at the close of the clip released on Jan. 7.

The former blogger behind The Tig served as both host and executive producer for the lifestyle show, which saw her cook, create, entertain and try new things alongside friends new and old across eight episodes.
The show was filmed in Montecito, California, where Meghan andPrince Harrylive with their childrenPrince Archie, 5 andPrincess Lilibet, 3. In it, she spent time with pals includingMindy Kaling,Delfina Blaquier,Abigail Spencer,Kelly McKee Zajfen,Vicky Tsai,Tracy RobbinsandDaniel Martin, and she made new acquaintances with Roy Choi, Alice Waters and other friends.
The Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle series was originally slated to premiere on Jan. 15, but she made the decision tohold the showuntil a later date amid the Los Angeles wildfires that devastated her home state at the time.

In the run-up to the March 4 launch ofWith Love, the Duchess of Sussex shared a “sneak peek” video that included footage of Guy joining her on set. TheInstagramsnippet showed Meghan smiling over her shoulder as she walked through a door with the beloved beagle beside her on a leash.
“Six more days until our show launches on @netflix! Celebrating the crew and everyone who helped make this happen!” she captioned the clip. “The countdown begins.”
