Before she starred in a lifestyle show on Netflix involving cooking,Meghan Marklehad a couple of jobs in the food service industry in her youth.
Meghan said doing so “reminds me of my childhood. I once had a job at a donut shop called Little Orbit Donuts.”

In the episode, called “Two Kids from L.A.,” Meghan bonds with chefRoy Choi, who also grew up in the City of Angels. Meghan expresses excitement over making Choi’s famous chicken wings, cheekily saying she’s “going to wing it.”
Later in the eight-episode series, Meghan said in episode five, “I’m not a chef, I’m comfortable in the kitchen.”

In that same episode, Meghan revealed another childhood job as she made a vanilla ice cream dish using strawberry preserves she picked with daughterPrincess Lilibet, who “picked all the berries,” Meghan said.
In the same sequence, Meghan shared that her grandmother worked at an ice cream shop and that her first job was also at an ice cream shop when she was 13 years old.
“My first job was at Humphrey Yogarts,” she said.

Later in the series, Meghan said that she was thankful for “just being home and connecting with friends, making new friends. I’m just so grateful for that, but also reconnecting with myself and just learning, right? I’ve always been curious. Sharing all those discoveries and everything I love with the people that I love — it brings me so much joy.”

The Duchess of Sussex says in anexclusive interview with PEOPLEthat her husband is loving seeing her dive back into the entrepreneurial world with her lifestyle brand As ever and her Netflix series,With Love, Meghan.
“My husband met me when I hadThe Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me,” she says.
“It’s almost like ahoneymoon period again,” she adds, “because it’s exactly how it was in the beginning when he’d watch me scribbling away, writing newsletters, fine-tuning edits and just really being in the details of it. I think he loves watching as much as I love doing that creative process. It’s just been fun. This is who I’ve always been.”
