Police have identified a mother who was fatally shot outside a bar in England on Valentine’s Day.
On Monday, Feb. 17, Kent Police shared in apress releasethat the 43-year-old woman who was killed outside The Three Horseshoes pub has been named as Lisa Smith.
“Kent Police was called at 7.02 pm on Friday, 14 February 2025, to Main Road, Knockholt, where a woman had suffered gunshot wounds. She died at the scene,” authorities said, per the release.
They added, “Whilst the victim has not yet been formally identified, she has been named as Lisa Smith, aged 43, and who was from Slough.”
Police are searching for the suspect, a man believed to be known to the victim, according to the release.
“Police are continuing to search areas of the River Thames after a suspect linked to a murder in Knockholt is believed to have fallen from the Queen Elizabeth II bridge,” authorities added in their statement.
They continued, “A car and firearm linked to the suspect were later recovered next to the Dartford Crossing.”

“The suspect, a man known to the victim, is reported to have been seen on the wrong side of a bridge barrier and officers are focusing efforts on searches to recover him from the water,” police said.
Kent Police confirmed in a previous Facebookstatement on Feb. 15that they were alerted to “a disturbance at the Three Horseshoes pub in Main Road, #Knockholt #Sevenoaks.”
“Officers attended the scene along with South East Coast Ambulance Service where a woman in her 40s had suffered injuries consistent with gunshot wounds,” they wrote. “She was declared deceased at the scene and a murder investigation is underway.”
