Mom-to-Be Shares Photos from Before and After She Told Her Husband About Pregnancy — and His Expression Is Amazing (Exclusive)

A mom-to-be’s husband had the best reaction after learning that he is going tobecome a father.

“My husband smiling FOR the photos before I told him I’m pregnant,” Sabrina, 23, wrote on top of images of herself and Dylan, also 23, posing together, before a video clip of the expectant mother showing her spouse herpositive pregnancy testplayed.

The post then featured photographs of Dylan jumping excitedly in the air, with his wife later joining him. “My husband smiling IN the photos after,” Sabrina captioned the follow-up set of snapshots.

Sabrina tells PEOPLE that she and Dylan firstmet onlinein May 2020. “We spoke over the phone for a couple of weeks before our first date in person,” she says.

The pair got engaged three years later in May 2023 and then got married in a courthouse wedding a month later. “We were on and off long distance throughout our entire relationship, 18 months of long-distance cumulatively, and knew things would smooth out once I was done with school and we could figure out where we wanted to settle together,” Sabrina says.

According to Sabrina, Dylan “has always dreamed about starting a family of his own, to be able to pass down his life lessons and hard work.”

“He has dreamt of one-day building or buying houses for our children and doing what he can to help set our children up for success — financially, mentally, etc.,” she adds. “He started more seriously talking about this with me once we got more serious, probably towards the end of our first year of dating.”

When she told Dylan that she was pregnant, Sabrina says he “was definitely in shock.”

“We had just decided that we wanted to start trying a couple of months prior, but I know howdifficult it can be to conceive, so I guess we both didn’t fully expect it to happen so soon,” she continues.

As for what she is most looking forward to in terms of Dylan’s upcoming new role as a father, Sabrina tells PEOPLE, “I am so excited to see him continue to grow and mature as a man and a father. His outlook on life and family is something I find so beautiful and is a huge part of why I am so grateful and excited for this new season of life.”

Sabrina is currently in her 18th week of pregnancy. “Almost halfway there,” she exclaims.

She and Dylan “have decided to find out the sex at our 20-week ultrasound, which will be right aroundChristmastime.”

Sabrina also notes that they have “definitelystarted discussing names” for their child.

“But we haven’t nailed down a definite for either sex,” she explains.
