One news anchor covertly shared her pregnancy announcement during a recent broadcast.
On Friday, Jan. 24, in Columbus, Ohio, NBC 4 news anchor Monica Day and her co-anchor Matt Barnes presented asegmenthighlighting how “people have gotten more creative with the pregnancy announcements,” as Day put it.
“Some of them don’t go as planned," Barnes added. “Watch as these siblings have very different reactions to their special Christmas gift.”
The broadcast then showed a clip of two children in their matching red Christmas pajamas in front of the Christmas tree.

“It’s finally setting in that that’s a real, that it’s a reality at my age, which you don’t anticipate that you’re going to be pregnant,” Day added.
She confirmed that her son has come around to the idea of being an older brother.
“I do want to mention that Palmer has definitely come around to the idea," Day said.
“He looked like he was on the verge of tears from the first sign of that gift,” Barnes said.
“He was,” Day confirmed. “We spent a lot of time that day talking about it. Presley’s hoping for a girl. Palmer, now that he wants a child, is hoping for a boy. But initially, he was just hoping for no other.”
