Nick Cannon Details His ‘Busy’ Thanksgiving Schedule as a Father of 12, Says He Has ‘a Bunch of Dinners’ to Attend (Exclusive)

Nick Cannonis sharing what he has planned this Thanksgiving.

TheWild ‘n Outstar, 44, spoke exclusively with PEOPLE at the Wednesday, Nov. 27 L.A. Mission Thanksgiving charity event in downtown L.A., sharing insight into celebrating the holiday with his 11 children.

Cannon is father to two children withAlyssa Scott— sonZen, whodiedat 5 months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer, and daughterHalo Marie Cannon born on Dec. 14, 2022.

“It’s very complicated. I’m a busy man on Thanksgiving,” he tells PEOPLE, noting that he has “a bunch of dinners” that he has “got to go to.”

“So I know every house that needs to have the things that I really like,”The Masked Singerhost says.

Cannon tells PEOPLE he continues to volunteer with the organization because his grandmother taught him that “to whom much is given, much is required.”

“The best part about any holiday is to be able to be of service. And that’s what I feel like life is really about,” he tells PEOPLE. “When you can get to a space where you have more fun being of service and doing for others, I think that’s when you reach the zenith of what life is all about.”

While he preps for a busy holiday, Cannon tells PEOPLE that he’s also getting ready for hisWild ‘n Outshow at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., on Saturday, Nov. 30.
