Nicolas Cage's Son Weston Announces Engagement to Girlfriend Jenifer Alexa Canter: 'My Only Love and My Last'

The musician, 34, proposed to his girlfriend Jenifer Alexa Canter, and shared the news on Thursday, March 6.

“Jenifer is my first love, my only love and my last,” he exclusively told PEOPLE. “She is the love of my life and I am committed to her forever.”

“What I have with Jenifer is a God-given divine phenomenon, and therefore it is incomparable,” he added. “She is the love of my life, and our special love is uncanny.”

“I am honored to be with the absolute love of my life. We look forward to changing the world and making our legacy.”

A day before announcing their engagement, Weston posted anInstagramselfie of himself and Canter on Wednesday, March 5. In the caption, he expressed that he “truly can’t wait to change the world with [her].”

In November 2024, he went public with his and Canter’s romance viaInstagram. He called her his “twin flame,” adding that he loves her “beyond mortal comprehension.”

Prior to his relationship with Catner, Weston was married to musician Nikki Williams in 2011 before they split the next year.

He and Danielle Cage then tied the knot in 2013. The pair welcomed two children together, sons Lucian and Sorin, in 2014 and 2016, before they broke up later that year.

In 2018, Westonwed Hila Cage Coppola, with whom he welcomed twin girls, Venice Zohar and Cyress Zara, in 2020. The pair split and finalized their divorce in July 2024, perPage Six.

Weston is Cage’s oldest child, whom Cage shares with ex-girlfriendChristina Fulton.

In July 2024, Weston wasarrestedon a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon after an incident involving Fulton in April.
