Nikki Glaseris looking back on her 2025Golden Globesexperience with pride.
“I got paid pretty [well],” said Glaser, 40, on Jan. 6. “There was a past host who said how much money he got paid in his monologue, and I got less than that, but that’s okay. I’ll get more next year.”
While Glaser didn’t call out which host disclosed his salary she was referring to,Jerrod Carmichaelnotably said in 2023 duringhis hosting-stint monologuethat he was paid $500,000 for the job.

Glaser, who made a name for herself at various celebrity roasts, delivered a variety of zingers inher opening monologueon Sunday, including a hilarious shoutout toBen Affleck.
“Tonight, we celebrate the best of film and hold space for television,” she said, before listing some of the films nominated for awards: “Yes,Wicked,Queer,Nightbitch.”
“These are not just words Ben Affleck yells after he orgasms. These are some of the incrediblemovies nominated tonight,” Glaser added.

On Stern’s show, Glaser said, “I feel well paid for what I do — I’m all right. And this first year, when you’re just trying to prove yourself, I honestly would’ve done it for free. It’s an insane platform to be on. It’s not about the money for me.”
Talkingabout the work involvedversus the opportunity payoff, she added, “Who wouldn’t do what I did? I don’t understand that kind of person. It was hard work I guess, but I had fun doing it. I’m a little exhausted, but I’ll miss doing it.”
As for whether she will return to host the 2026 Globes, Glaser told Stern that the powers that be “haven’t asked me formally,” but “I can’t imagine they wouldn’t.”
