Nina Dobrevis soaking up the fiancée life!

The actress, 35, shared acarouselof 20 photos on Instagram from her trip to Park City, Utah for the holidays, where she spent Christmas withShaun Whiteand his family.

Dobrev’s5-carat diamond sparklerwas on display in a majority of the photos as she and White, 38, continued enjoying the excitement followinghis October proposal.

“First Christmas as fiancées 🥹 🤍 ,” she captioned the post, which also included some sweet shots of the Olympian’s family and their cozy Christmas cabin decor.

He wrote on Instagram weeks later that he was “still floating” after the romantic night ashe shared a behind-the-scenes look at Dobrev’s reactionand the celebration afterward.

Dobrev toldVogueshe “went into shock” when she arrived at the restaurant and White got down on one knee. “I just froze and stared at him.”

She hard-launched the happy news days later on Instagram, writing, “RIP boyfriend, hello fiancé,” alongside a fewshotsof the proposal, and she laterwrote, “My heart is so full and my cheeks hurt from smiling” following the engagement.

A source told PEOPLE that the former professional snowboarder had been talking to his “close circle about the proposal for months” and “everyone is so happy for them.”

“After the proposal, they were calling and texting friends saying, ‘It can’t get better than this’ and were just glowing,” the source said. “They are the perfect fit together — fun and adventurous, but also very grounding for each other.”

The source also shared that it’s likely the couple’s wedding will be “a blowout party.”

Surprises are a big part of the couple’s life together — and not just when it comes to their engagement.

Earlier this year, Dobrev told PEOPLE thatpart of what makes her and White’s relationship special is that they “do date night every week"but they alternate who plans it.

“One week I’ll plan it and he won’t have any idea what we’re doing so it’s a surprise for him. And then the following week, he’ll plan and it’ll be a complete surprise for me,” she said on PEOPLE in 10 in June.

The routine “keeps things sort of exciting and interesting and dedicates time for the two of us to spend together.”
