Olympic Swimmer Nic Fink Welcomes First Baby with Wife Melanie: 'Our Little Turkey Butt'

“A very happy thanksgiving with our little turkey butt 🤎,” she wrote in the caption.

At the 2024 Paris Olympics, Fink said that the couplewas expecting their first child togetherwhile speaking with reporters during a press conference in Paris on Aug. 4. Just before, Finkwon the silver medalin the men’s 4x100-meter medley relay.

Said Fink, “L.A. seems really far away and I felt like I was pushing my age cliff a lot these past couple of years. . . . But . . . you never know.”

Fink’s wife Melanie, 32, is a former Olympic swimmer, but now works as an assistant swim coach at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, where the couple lives. She won gold in the women’s 4x200-meter freestyle relay in Rio in 2016. Fink’s day job is for Quanta Utility Engineering Services, theTodayshow reported.

“We’re excited about what’s coming up,” he toldTodayon July 29. “As fun as all this experience is, it’s going to be a really cool rest of the summer and beyond.”
