As the 97th annual Academy Awards approaches, executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan announced a new batch of presenters on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
Halle Berryis the first to join the already-impressivelist of presentersthat includes 2024 Oscar winnersRobert Downey Jr.,Cillian Murphy,Da’Vine Joy RandolphandEmma Stone.
Berry, 58, previouslywon Best Actressfor her role in 2001’sMonster’s Ballat the74th Academy Awards. Clinching the trophy cemented her in history as she became thefirst Black performer to win the Academy Award for Best Actress.

Third on the list of presenters isPenélope Cruz, who won the Oscar forBest Supporting Actress at the 81st Academy Awardsfor her role inVicky Cristina Barcelona.
Cruz, 50,received four Oscar nominations, the most recent being for Best Actress at the 94th Academy Awards for her role inParallel Mothers. She has also previously served as a presenter.
