Oscar Winners Halle Berry and Whoopi Goldberg Lead Latest Group of 2025 Oscars Presenters Announced

The2025 Oscarsjust got an extra ounce of star power.

As the 97th annual Academy Awards approaches, executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan announced a new batch of presenters on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

Halle Berryis the first to join the already-impressivelist of presentersthat includes 2024 Oscar winnersRobert Downey Jr.,Cillian Murphy,Da’Vine Joy RandolphandEmma Stone.

Berry, 58, previouslywon Best Actressfor her role in 2001’sMonster’s Ballat the74th Academy Awards. Clinching the trophy cemented her in history as she became thefirst Black performer to win the Academy Award for Best Actress.

Berry previously presented at the 2023 Oscars, when she andJessica ChastainpresentedMichelle Yeohwith theBest Actress statuettefor her role inEverything Everywhere All at Once.

Second to join the list isWhoopi Goldberg. The multi-hyphenate has two Oscar nominations to her name. At the 58th Academy Awards, Goldberg, 69,was nominated for Best ActressforThe Color Purple.At the 63rd Academy Awards, shewon Best Supporting ActressforGhost.

Third on the list of presenters isPenélope Cruz, who won the Oscar forBest Supporting Actress at the 81st Academy Awardsfor her role inVicky Cristina Barcelona.

Cruz, 50,received four Oscar nominations, the most recent being for Best Actress at the 94th Academy Awards for her role inParallel Mothers. She has also previously served as a presenter.
