In the touching video, Hilton welcomed Zuzu’s owners into her home. The mother and son eagerly greeted their dog as Hilton said how sweet the dog was during their time together.
The woman thanked Hilton for her generosity. “I love her so much. She’s such a little angel,” Hilton replied.
“You helped save her,” the woman responded. Hilton immediately went to hug her and express her sympathy to the family after they lost their home in Altadena, Calif. “Just making my son’s whole week that he gets to have his dog back!”
Hilton then revealed that she had Zuzu groomed the day before and that the dog had been enjoying movie night in Hilton’s bed with her and her husband,Carter Reum.
“I really really appreciate it,” the woman told Hilton, adding, “My other son is excited to see her.”
“Oh my god! What Paris?! That’s amazing,” the woman said. “Oh my gosh, I don’t know what to say. Thank you. Thank you so so much.”
Hilton’s interaction with the family follows theongoing devastation from the wildfires. The deadly Palisades and Eaton Fires first broke out on Tuesday, Jan. 7. Since the flames set a blaze, 27 people died and thousands of structures were destroyed, displacing entire communities.
