Reflecting about her days as a student at SUNY Purchase, Parker shared, “I used to go to army surplus stores and find the old khaki pants that were really worn, and my mom would put darts at the waist and take them up at the hem.”
“I can be comfortable here and I can feel at home in these clothes,” she continues. “And then if I’m going to dress up, I’llreallydress up.”
