Patrick Mahomes Sr.is poking fun at Buffalo Bills fans following their tough loss to Kansas City.
“Today is a great day to not be from Buffalo,” Mahomes Sr., 54, wrote on Monday, Jan. 27, clearly referencing his son’s win over the AFC rival team the night before.
The Chiefs secured their spot in the upcoming Super Bowl on Feb. 9,where they’ll face the Philadelphia Eaglesat Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans. A win would set an NFL record, marking the first time a team has won the title three years in a row.
Mahomes Sr. was an MLB pitcher from 1992 to 2003. During his career, he played for the Boston Red Sox, New York Mets, Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs and the Pittsburgh Pirates.
During his marriage to Randi Mahomes, the couple welcomed Patrick and his younger brother,Jackson Mahomes. They’re now grandparents to Patrick’s children, Sterling Skye, who turns 4 on Feb. 20; Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2; and Golden Raye, who was born on Sunday, Jan. 12.

The post comes just one day afterBrittany Mahomes slammed Buffalo fansfor their “absolutely disgusting” taunts of the Chiefs during the regular season.
“Do we remember this Buffalo?” Brittany, 29,wrote. “Absolutely disgusting…So as you go home tonight, I pray we become better people.”
