The clip sees the 55-year-old Food Network star adorning a huge Christmas tree with hundreds of rainbow-effect lights. The tree was so tall that Drummond had to use a large, red step ladder to reach the top. She also precariously balances on the stairs of her Oklahoma home to reach a tricky spot at one point.

Once Drummond is happy with the lights, she sweeps up the fallen pine needles and adds a red velvet cloth around the tree’s base.

But Ree isn’t the only Drummond family member busily readying their home for the holidays.

“It wasn’t a charming 50-year-old house,” she said of the original property, which was the same one Ladd grew up in and where they brought up their five kids.

“We loved raising our kids in the house, but it had foundation problems and had developed a few problems that were going to be pretty overwhelming to fix.” The star also added that there were plumbing issues and water damage.

Their new home features Spanish ranch elements — such as arched doorways and exposed wood ceiling beams. It also has an industrial-style open iron staircase with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing the perfect spot for Ree to place her Christmas tree!
