Bündchen is already mom to daughter Vivian Lake, 11, and son Benjamin Rein, 14, whom she shares with ex-husband Tom Brady.

After news broke thatBündchen is expecting again,a source close to Bündchen exclusively told PEOPLE that Bündchen is “excited to embrace this new chapter openly.”

Bündchen “received many positive messages and congratulations,” said the insider, adding that while the soon-to-be mother of three “wanted to keep it private for as long as she could, doing so was starting to be a challenge.”

The supermodel “feels good” and is continuing “pilates and other exercises that will help with birth too," the source added. She has “always taken amazing care of herself,” the insider said, noting the model “eats healthy and meditates as well.”

The couple met because Bündchen’s son Benjamin took jiu-jitsu lessons at Valente’s academy. They werefirst spotted togetherin November 2022, when the pair visited Provincia de Puntarenas (a province located on Costa Rica’s coast) with her two kids.

In February 2024, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that Bündchen and Valente have beendating since June 2023.
