Prince Williamis opening up about his sporting superstitions — and how he relies on his kids to bring luck tohis favorite soccer team!

The Prince of Wales, 42 — who is the patron of the English Football Association — is a big fan of Aston Villa F.C. and has already passed his love of the game to his eldest son,Prince George, 11, who has regularly joined him for multiple games at the team’s home ground in Birmingham, England.

“If I’m home alone with the children, I probably don’t have the pre-match pint but I do have a bit of superstition about where I sit when I’m watching them," William told the outlet.

As for which teams his children support, William told the newspaper that he’s “kind of hoping they’ll all find their own teams in time. They don’t all have to be Villa fans.”

“I’m trying not to be biased but obviously they see how passionate I am about it and they watch the matches with me. I’m trying to spread the love a little bit,” he added.

Elsewhere in the interview, William admitted that he also goes on fan forums anonymously to see what fellow soccer fans are talking about.

“I like going on the forums, I can be on there for ages. I listen to what other fans have to say and give them my opinions. I get quite into it, definitely. It’s important to have that debate," he toldThe Sun.
