Rachael Rayis celebrating Christmas from Italy this year!
“Christmas No. 3 at our favorite getaway in Puglia 🇮🇹,” she wrote in the caption, referring to the coastal region located in southern Italy.
In a series of photos, Ray showed off her family’s meal, which included turkey with some sprigs of fresh herbs (along with a fake turkey as a centerpiece decoration), roasted potatoes, a salad with plenty of greens and pomegranates, soup, gravy and more.
The celebrity chef and her husband,John Cusimano, have been candid about spending more and more time in Italy following the end of her syndicated daytime talk show,The Rachael Ray Show, in May 2023.
At the time her long-running series ended, Ray revealedon Instagramthat she was “spending more time in Italy” — away from their homes in New York, including anapartment in N.Y.C.and ahome upstatein Lake Luzerne that they had rebuilt after it wasdestroyed in a massive firein August 2020.
Ray most recently shared photos of herself spending time in Italy this past summer, posting photos to Instagram that showed her and her family enjoying asunset on the Tuscan island of Elbaas well as a birthday celebrationfor Cusimanoin Puglia.
Italy has another special meaning to the couple — Ray and Cusimano tied the knot in Italy,marrying at a Tuscan castle called Castello di Velona in 2005. The pair also renewed their vows 10 years later in 2015, returning to the same castle with lots of celebrity guests, includingGuy Fieri, Ken Oringer andAnne Burrell, who all took turns cooking for the crowd.
The coupleflew about 100 of their family and friendsto Italy for the celebration, and the pair shared at the time that they and their loved ones have gone back to the castle every year since tying the knot.
“We’ve done this celebration every year for 10 years,” Ray told PEOPLE in 2015. “We’re very busy; I have five jobs. We don’t see everybody often enough, and we probably take them and their friendship for granted. But they make us better people for knowing them."

Ray has also been celebrating her love for Italian cuisine withRachael Ray in Tuscany,her newest series that premiered in June.
In 2024, her production company, Free Food Studios,partnered with A&E Networksto bring “in the kitchen” content and new shows from Ray and other talent over the following two years. Ray told PEOPLE in January that she’s “not really good with downtime” — a sentiment she’s echoed on her podcast,I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead.
“I love to work. I love it. I love to have my brain very active, and if I’m not writing shows, I’m drawing ‘foodles’ I call them — recipes on paper — and writing books and things,” she said. “I don’t like being idle. I’ve never been good at it.”
