Rebel Wilson Shares Photos from Legal Wedding to Ramona Agruma in Australia: ‘Felt Right to Do It in My Hometown’

Rebel WilsonandRamona Agrumaare legally married in Australia!

The pair — who initiallytied the knotduring alavish weddingin Sardinia, Italy, on Sept. 28 — made it official in Wilson’s native country. Wilson, 44, shared photos from the legal wedding onInstagramon Saturday, Dec. 28.

“My sister Liberty officiated our legal wedding in Sydney! It meant my 94-year-old grandmother Gar could come, which was very special to us to have her included and just felt right to do it in my hometown at this glorious time of the year! 😘,” she captioned the post.

In addition to photos of Wilson and Agruma in front of the Sydney Harbour, thePitch Perfectstar also shared snaps from their intimate wedding dinner on her Instagram Stories, including one with her 2-year-old daughter,Royce Lillian, who she welcomed via surrogate in November 2022.

The pair went Instagram official in June 2022, with Wilson writing, “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess 💗🌈💗#loveislove.”

Wilson proposed to Agruma — who is a Los Angeles-based designer — while at Disneyland in February 2023.

While speaking withPEOPLE in 2023about her journey to love and her same-sex relationship, the actress noted that “I never thought I was 100 percent straight,” adding, “I don’t quite know how to define my sexuality, but I do know there’s a lot of people out there that don’t want to totally define it either."

“I was shocked when I met Ramona,” she continued. “How deep the connection was and how instant it was. Where I thought I was really looking for a husband, dating about 50 guys in one year. I was always a bit of a girls' girl and had deep friendships with women, but this was the first time that it was a romantic connection. Then I was like, well, what if that was part of my personality that I was repressing and not exploring?”

“Maybe I should have 10 years earlier, I don’t know. My journey is what it is,” she concluded.
