“BBC Dad” is looking back at his family’s viral moment, eight years later.

ProfessorRobert E. Kellyshared his annual update on his children to commemorate eight years since daughter Marion and son James crashed his serious BBC interview, playing in the background of his live shot.

“Today is the eighth anniversary of the ‘BBC Dad’ blooper, so here are some recent family pictures. The kids are growing fast,” he shared on X.

His daughter took his open office door as an invitation to crash his interview.

“Pardon me, my apologies,” Kelly said calmly as his wife tried to herd the children out of the room.

“As always, my wife & I are very grateful for all the kind remarks over the years about our children. Thank you so much. Bob,” Kelly concluded his 2025 post.
