Renée Elise Goldsberryis embracing all the love around her.
Goldsberry plays a variety of characters throughout the show “that are the subject of people trying to figure out how to love them, how to care for them,” she tells PEOPLE. The way to navigate being the only woman on the show, she says, is to focus on all that love.
“I think just soaking it all in is the right way to do this show,” she says. “I’m glad I say that out loud before I go through the opening night — just soak it all in.”
