Johnson attended the opening to support his wife, and Goldsberry tells PEOPLE it would be the first time he had an opportunity to see the Broadway show, which — according to anofficial synopsis— features “a series of hilarious stories about dating, heartbreak, marriage and that sort of thing,” adapted from the short stories of Simon Rich. It stars a rotating cast of performers including Goldsberry,John Mulaney,Fred Armisen,Chloe Finemanand Richard Kind.
Goldsberry says that being part of the show has reminded her of just how lucky she is to have her husband and family. “I feel most grateful that no matter how beautiful the story about love that I get to tell [in the play], it always makes me even more grateful for what I have at home,” she explains.
Earlier this month, theGirls5evastar shared a post onInstagramto celebrate her latest anniversary with Johnson. Alongside two sentimental photos of the couple on their wedding day, as well as a few snapshots of them with their kids, she wrote a message reflecting on her journey with her attorney husband.

“I wish, mainly, that I could have a job and work all the time and also not have to leave my kids,” she said of balancing it all. “If there was a way to clone myself, and be at every parent-teacher meeting and be there to put my kids to bed every single night, andalsostar on Broadway, that’s what I would do.”
