Rihannais calling out the use of an AI-generated version of her voice.
On Feb. 5, the “Work” singer commented on avideotitled “Rihanna’s Most Expensive Purchases” from@thescrolltvthat featured what appeared to be a voiceover from the star — but was actually completely manufactured.
“Who tf is this talking??!” the Fenty Beauty mogul, 36, commented on the video, uploaded on Jan. 31. The account pinned the comment.

A week prior, a user commented, “Ai generated” under the video, with @thescrolltv confirming, “yes it is.”
The video uses a clip from a press conference for Rihanna’s 2023 Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime show to make it appear as though she’s answering questions about indulgent purchases as opposed to herperformanceat the big game.

In August 2024, Tom Hankswarned fansto “not be fooled” after discovering that there were “multiple ads over the internet falsely using my name, likeness, and voice promoting miracle cures and wonder drugs.”
“These ads have been created without my consent, fraudulently and through AI,” Hanks, 68, continued. “I have nothing to do with these posts or the products and treatments, or the spokespeople touting these cures.”
In November 2023, Scarlett Johanssonsent a cease-and-desist letterto Lisa AI, an AI app that used the Marvel star’s image and voice for a commercial.
