Sarah Snookis getting ready to step back intoThe Picture of Dorian Gray’s many roles, and PEOPLE has first look at her in action.
The Emmy-winningSuccessionactress, 37, will make her Broadway debut in the play, which begins previews on March 10 ahead of an opening on March 27 at the Music Box Theatre in New York City. It’s currently set for a “strictly limited” 14-week engagement.
PhotographerRebecca J Michelsonwas in the room when rehearsals for the production kicked off on Monday, Feb. 17. The shutterbug snapped pictures of Snook as she spoke with the creatives behind the play, including director Kip Williams.

Other members of the creative team include Marg Horwell (set and costume design) Nick Schlieper (lighting design), Clemence Williams (composition and sound design), David Bergman (video design) and Eryn Jean Norvill (dramaturg and Cceative associate).

The Picture of Dorian Graytells the story of a young man who trades his soul for eternal youth. Snook will play a whopping 26 characters in the production, including the title character.
This production, likethe celebrated revival ofSunset Blvd.currently on the boards, employs “an explosive interplay of video and theater through an intricately choreographed collection of on-stage cameras.”

Audiences first saw Snook in theThe Picture of Dorian Graywhen it premiered at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London to a sold-out run. She would wind up winning a best actress in a play trophy at the 2024 Olivier Awards for her work, one of two the production took home that night (the other was for Horwell’s costume design).

When its Broadway transfer was announced back in October 2024, Snook opened up about her positive experience with the project.

While most famous for her turn as Shiv inSuccession,HBO’s award-winning family drama, Snook has previously taken the stage with various productions in Australia as well as London, where she starred alongside Ralph Fiennes inThe Master Builderat the Old Vic Theatre.
Meanwhile, it will be aSuccessionreunion on Broadway for Snook this season. Also on the boards? Her former costarKieran Culkin, who will leadthe starry revival ofGlengarry Glen Ross.
