Savannah Guthrieis getting inked again.

TheTodayanchor, 53, appeared onThe Drew Barrymore Showon Tuesday, March 11, and shared that she got another tattoo with hostDrew Barrymoreafter getting her first tattoo with the50 First Datesalum back in January 2023.

In asegment from Barrymore’s show, the two receive their new tattoos — hearts for Guthrie and the word “time” for Barrymore — as they discuss how their pasts haven’t necessarily contributed to successes in the present.

“I was talking about my kids in school, and Savannah was helping me. I was making a choice about where they were going to go and Savannah, it was like exactly what I needed to hear from you, because I was feeling a little uncertain and insecure because I care about my kids’ journey in a different way than I cared about my own,” Barrymore says of a recent conversation she and Guthrie had.

“So you were talking about how both of us are not these perfectly pedigreed people and yet we have a life, we have a job. I appreciated how you were talking about your past,” she adds.

Guthrie agrees, saying it’s “easy” to get caught up in those little everyday decisions.

“And I was saying to you, Drew, I feel so grateful every single day to wake up and get to be the anchor of theTodayshow. But there’s nothing about my background that could’ve suggested that would ever be possible,” she explains.

“I grew up in Tucson, Arizona. I didn’t have any connections. I went to a big public high school. I got average grades. I ditched school 35 times my senior year and got suspended. But eventually, it all kinda works out, you know? And I just got a tattoo.”

Guthrie also talked about the experience quickly onTodayand shared that her tattoo has a sweet nod to her two kids — son Charley, 8, and daughter Vale, 10, whom she shares with husband Michael Feldman.

“How cool are you?” Dylan Dreyer asks.

“She said, ‘Do you want to get tattoos?’ And I said, ‘Sure.’ I just want to say my little boy did one of the hearts and Vale did the other,” Guthrie explains.

Back in January 2023, Guthriegot her first tattoo alongside Barrymore, who are both producers and have guest-starred on Netflix’schildren’s showPrincess Power.

Guthrie got the words “all my love” inked horizontally across her forearm. The dainty tattoo was done with a single needle to keep it light and thin.
