Jost appeared in several elements of the show while his wife appeared besideKim Kardashian,Ana GasteyerandKristen Wiigas the Maharelle Sisters.

The evening brought the pair back to their love story beginning when they met on the set ofSNLin 2006. At the time, Johansson was making her hosting debut on the sketch comedy show (she later became a member of the “Five-Timers Club”) and Jost was in his first year working in the writer’s room. The two later married in October 2020 with an intimate ceremony during the COVID pandemic.

In 2020, the engaged couple walked the red carpet to celebrate Johansson’sfirst-ever Oscar nominationsat the 92nd Academy Awards. She was nominated for Best Actress for her leading role in the Netflix dramaMarriage Storyand Best Supporting Actress for her performance inJojo Rabbit.

Johansson wore a custom pewter Oscar de la Renta draped gown featuring a fringe beaded bodice and sweeping train. The design, whichtook more than 300 hours to make, included a corset bodice with intricate sparkling details that dripped down to the rest of the silk skirt. The star’s hair was pulled back into an elegant updo with a few face-framing strands adding to the look’s softness.

The actress is no stranger to presenting at award shows. Earlier this year, the actress even tried her hand at co-hosting NBC’sTodayalongside Jenna Bush Hager onJenna & Friends.

“It’sa complete dream. I was saying to Jenna earlier, it’s like that thing that I imagined as a 10-year-old: Some day I’m going to be on a daytime show and meet all of these amazing people,” Johansson told PEOPLE exclusively.
