Sebastian Roché doesn’t have plans to reprise his role as Jerry Jacks onGeneral Hospital— at least not any time soon.
While recently speaking exclusively to PEOPLE — during a joint interview with his wife,Cobra KaiactressAlicia Hannah-Kim— Roché shared that his time on the long-running soap opera is behind him.
“I think it’s firmly in the past. It was a great memory,” Roché, 60, said. “It was a great experience, but now I’m really in the creative. We have a lot of plans — Ali producing and writing, and me writing and continuing to act.”
However, the1923actordidn’t rule out a return to daytime entirely, jokingly saying, ”Who knows … Grandpa Jack. You never know.“
“We’ll schedule it in for 2060,” Hannah-Kim, 37, chimed in.

Roché also shared that he and his wife plan to delve more deeply into the behind-the-scenes aspects of the industry going forward, specifically “directing and writing,” and that they’ve even established their own production company, which they named Victoria House.
When it comes to upcoming projects in front of the camera, the actor says he would love to “do another one ofTaylor Sheridan’s25,000 shows,” noting that working with Sheridan on1923was a dream come true.

“Just being on set, I was pinching myself in costume on horseback,” he recalled.
“It’s going to be a very interesting [second] season, but it really is a dream come true in terms of a young French boy growing up near Paris, watching American movies, and then here I am … on a massive set of a Western with an extraordinary part and an extraordinary journey in my character,” he said.
“I love those moments,” he added. “I’m like, ‘Oh, here I am. You’re dreaming. What you were dreaming about is reality, and here you are.’ “
1923season 2 premieres Feb. 23 at 12 a.m. ET on Paramount+.
