In ajoint interview withInterviewmagazine, the Disney Channel alum and her fiancé spoke abouttheir relationship, how they met andshared details about her engagement ring.

Gomez continued: “I’ve kind of been alone in the world. I was alone for five years before we got together, and I think that really helped me appreciate someone like Ben.”

Gomez shouted out Blanco for his unconditional loveon Instagram in November 2024. “Not only do you love me unconditionally… You always get me my Taco Bell Mexican pizza,” she wrote alongside a picture of Blanco in PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive countdown interview.

On Thursday, Feb. 13,the couple announced a surprised musical collaborationafterteasing a project in January.I Said I Love You First, the first album they’ve done together, releases on March 21. The first song from the album,“Scared of Loving You"is already available to stream.

Gomez and Blanco celebrated their first Valentine’s Day as an engaged couple in a cheesy way. Blanco surprised Gomezwith a bathtub full of queso cheese. On Friday, Feb. 14, Blanco arranged a trail of tortilla chips leading up to the bathroom and bathtub with some chips readying “I [heart] you.”

Next to the cheese-filled tub was a bowl of chips. “When your [fiancée] isn’t much of a flowers girl,” Blancocaptioned the Instagram postshowing off his work. “I love everything bout this.. 🥰,” Gomez commented.
