Barbara Corcoranhas lost her Pacific Palisades mobile home to thewildfires in Los Angeles.
TheShark Tankstar, 75, opened up about the loss of her beloved Tahitian Terrace Mobile Home Park abode in an emotionalInstagrampost on Thursday, Jan. 9. Corcoran confirmed the entire park was destroyed on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
“The devastating fires in LA have taken so much from so many this week. The beloved Tahitian Terrace Mobile Home Park in Pacific Palisades, my little slice of heaven, was entirely destroyed when the devastating Palisades Fire rapidly moved through the park on Tuesday,” she wrote in the caption.
Included in the post is a harrowing video of the fires burning the park in full force amid extreme winds.
She continues, “For the past five years, I’ve been privileged to have a home in this loving, tight-knit community. It’s a place where kindness thrives, friendships are cherished, and neighbors become family.”
“My heart breaks again and again as I see these incredible people who built their lives here for decades, many of them seniors who poured their hearts and life-savings into their trailers, left with absolutely nothing.”
She notes the link in her bio to aGoFundMethat she set up to help her neighbors rebuild their lives amid the tragedy.

Corcoran previously gave avideo tourof her mobile home to viral TikTok creatorCaleb Simpsonin July 2023. She referred to it as her “Taj Mahal” where “everything’s little” during the clip.
On Jan. 9, Simpson took to hisInstagram Storiesto bring awareness to the current wildfires and highlight Corcoran’s GoFundMe.
“Last year I toured Barbara Corcoran’s home in the Pacific Palisades and she just messaged me telling me that it burned down. My heart goes out to her and everyone whose homes literally just vanished before their eyes,” he said in the video, and included a link to the GoFundMe.
While millionaires living in mobile homes might not be typical elsewhere, it’s not uncommon for stars to own them in Malibu. In addition to Corcoran, celebrities likeMinnie Driver,Camille Grammer,Sarah Paulson,Matthew McConaughey, Pamela AndersonandBetsey Johnsonhave all owned mobile homes in the area.

Over 100,000 Los Angeles area residents have been issued mandatory evacuation orders since the Palisades Fire first ignited on the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 7, amid severe winds and dry conditions. There are currently multiple fires burning.
At least 10 deaths have been confirmed as of Thursday, Jan. 9, the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner said in astatementshared with PEOPLE.
