Ozzy Osbournecould’ve been a pirate — and wifeSharonstill regrets not letting him.
While appearing on the Feb. 19 episode ofThe Magnificent Others with Billy Corganand being Ozzy’s manager, Sharon, 72, revealed that she didn’t let Ozzy, 76, audition forPirates of the Caribbean.
“Do you want to know the biggest mistake I ever made with Ozzy?” Sharon asked Corgan, 57. “He got offered to go and read forPirates of the Caribbean, and I’ve never said this to anyone, and I said no.”
“Now wouldn’t he have been perfect?” Sharon continued, and Corgan agreed. “He would have been perfect! Maybe it’s not too late, but God bless.”

“Because whenJohnny [Depp]wantedKeith [Richards]to be a pirate, you remember?” Sharon added, alluding to another rock legend appearing inPirates of the Caribbean: At World’s EndandPirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tidesas Captain Teague.
Despite not joining thePiratesfilm franchise, Ozzy has appeared inAustin Powers in Goldmember,Little Nickyand an episode ofCrime Scene: Investigation, among other television shows and movies.

Sharon’s revelation comes weeks after she shared thatOzzy can no longer walkdue to Parkinsons' disease as he prepares for theBlack Sabbath reunion concert in July. “He’s very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this,” she toldThe Sunin February.
“Parkinson’s is a progressive disease. It’s not something you can stabilize. It affects different parts of the body and it’s affected his legs,” she explained. “But his voice is as good as it’s ever been.”

Ozzy also shared in February thathe wouldn’t perform a full set at the concert.
“I’m not planning on doing a set with Black Sabbath but I am doing little bits and pieces with them,” he said during an appearance onOzzy Speaksas part of the SiriusXM radio station Ozzy’sBoneyard. “I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable.”
