The area rug’s backing is crafted from non-slip latex, which prevents it from sliding and shifting, even without rug tape or a pad. It arrived from Amazon rolled up and protected with a plastic covering, and I found that within a few days, it settled and laid flat on my floor with no creasing or corners curling up.
