Simone Biles' husband,Jonathan Owens, is a big gymnastics fan, she says — but she’s still learning about the NFL.

The gold medalist (looking cozy and chic in a fuzzy black Prada bucket hat) said that her husband knows more about gymnastics than she knows about football.

“He knows so much about gymnastics,” Biles said during the interview, which took place in the back of a moving car.

As for how her own knowledge of the gridiron stacks up, Biles said she “could probably explain it to a 5-year-old” before sweetly admitting, “If I’m explaining it to a 25-year-old, [it] might not make sense.”

Biles is a regular supporter at Owens' NFL games, just as he has beena staple at her own competitions, including keeping track of her performances in gymnastics' intricate scoring system.

She recently told PEOPLE that she had “so much” to learn about football after meeting Owens on the dating app Raya in 2020.

“My dad and my brothers were always watching football, but I was never into it," she recalled.

“But I was always at the gym too, it’s not like I even had time to get to know it,” she said.

Biles even admitted to not knowing “a thing about football” when she first attended Houston Texans games as a special celebrity guest as her athletic career took off.

“In the very beginning, the Texans [in her hometown of Houston] would always bring me out so that I could lead the team out the tunnel and all of that good stuff, but I still knew absolutely not a thing about football,” she told PEOPLE.

Luckily, she has picked up some of the lingo and leaned on fellow wives and girlfriends for football knowledge.

“I’ve learned so much and even some of his teammates' wives are like, ‘Oh my gosh, you’ve come so far, you’ve learned so much,’ " Biles previously said, “because they’ve seen the journey.”
