Meri Brownis sharing a rare update on her child,Leon Brown.

The businesswoman notes of Leon, 29, that “whatever they want to put on social media is what people get to know about them.”

“We talk often,” Meri adds. “They’re doing well.”

Leon is Meri’s only child with now ex-husbandKody Brown. In June 2022, they came out as transgender — and Merishared a supportive message at the time, saying, “You are my sunshine.”

“You’re not in that place. You’re not in that person’s head, so you don’t know what it is that they’re thinking or doing,” she continues. “And so, I really think that’s what it is. With so many relationships and conversations within our family, they’re just looking at it from their own perspective. And you can’t see the other side of it.”
