Sisters Who Vanished After Night Walk Near River Sent Eerie Final Text Before Disappearing: Police

Mar. 15, 2025

Two sisters who went missing two weeks agoin Scotland sent an eerie text at the exact same time they were last seen, according to police.

Officers have now confirmed that a text message was sent “from Henrietta’s mobile phone to their landlady at 2:12 a.m.” on the morning they disappeared, from an area near to where they were last seen. The message indicated “they would not be returning” to the apartment, police said in the release.

“The phone was then disconnected from the network and has not been active since,” police confirmed.

“The following day, the sisters’ personal belongings were found inside the flat and the landlady reported her concerns to police,” authorities added in the appeal.

“Eliza and Henrietta are both described as white and of slim build with long, brown hair,” authorities said.

The missing sisters, from Hungary, are part of a set of triplets, with the other triplet being their sister Edit Huszti, according to the BBC.
