An iconic sandwich cookie is now a sandwich side.On Thursday, Jan. 30,Subwayannounced its latest footlong treat: the Oreo footlong cookie. The limited-time chocolatey menu item is available nationwide on the same day as the announcement.The $5 dessert is not exactly a 12-in. version of the chocolate biscuits and cream filling. Instead, the sandwich chain adds Oreo pieces to chocolate cookie dough and tops it with vanilla cream and more crushed Oreos.In 2024, Subway expanded its footlong offerings from sandwiches to a slew of sides.
