Seal sings a new rendition of his 1994 song “Kiss from a Rose,” while transforming into a seal in the spot for Mountain Dew.

The commercial begins with Mountain Dew’s Mountain Dude offering Becky G a drink. When she takes a sip of the bottle of Mountain Dew Baja Blast, the pop star enters a portal and lands in a boat with the Mountain Dude.

Featuring Seal’s face, the seal continues to sing: “Ooh, the more I think of it, it’s strange I’m a seal, yeah. My flippers can’t hold Mountain Dew, it slips right on through, what a shame. … Dew remains my power, my pleasure, my flame.”

“Well this is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen,” Becky says.

The ad ends with Seal in human form on the boat, stating, “Good-looking Seal,” as the Mountain Dude exclaims, “None of this makes sense!”
