Ted Danson Asked Dax Shepard to 'Do Something' After Kristen Bell'sNobody Wants ThisKiss 'Freaked' Him Out

Ted Dansonwas admittedly concerned when he sawDax Shepard’s wifeKristen Bell’s undeniable chemistry withAdam Brodyonscreen.

After watching Bell and Brody’s latest romcom,Nobody Wants This,The Good Placeactor, 76, recalled calling Shepard and urging him to take action when he saw his wife engage in a steamy kiss with her costar.

“My favorite Netflix moment is Kristen Bell onNobody Wants Thiskissing Adam Brody. It was so real — it freaked me out," he told Netflix in a video posted toFacebook. “I said, ‘Bud, can you do something about this? It’s shaking me up. It’s so real looking.'"

“But anyways, it is not," he quipped. “It is just that they are both brilliant actors.”

According tothe streamer’s synopsis,Nobody Wants Thisfollows “an agnostic sex podcaster [Bell] and a newly single rabbi [Brody] [who] fall in love.” However, their romance begs the question — “can their relationship survive their wildly different lives and meddling families?”

On Oct. 10, the show, which is loosely based on creatorErin Foster’s real-life love story,was renewed for season 2.

“My friend … we watched that scene together, the kissing scene, which I’d argue is the very best kissing scene ever, ever put on film,” Shepard said of the moment during The New Yorker Festival on Oct. 26.

“And my best friend, Aaron, from childhood, he goes, ‘Does she ever kiss you like that?’ No, I didn’t even know she could kiss like that,” he added.

Bell has also previously spoken about her and Brody’s steamy scenes — and how Shepard enthusiastically responded.

“Even I can acknowledge watching it, like, ‘Whoa, that’s hot,’” Bell toldE! News. “My husband said the same thing. Like, watching the first episode he was like, ‘Oh my God, I want you to kiss him so badly.’”
