Mackenzie McKeeis having candid conversations with her kids.

The latest episode ofTeen Mom: The Next Chaptershows the mom of three, 30, navigating Hurricane Milton with Broncs, 7, Jaxie, 11, and Gannon, 13, and fiancé Khesanio Hall. When Hall asks if the kids' dad, Mackenzie’sex-husband Josh McKee, had checked in, she revealed she wouldn’t be surprised if he hadn’t.

“He doesn’t speak to me,” she explains. “I know they spoke to his mom. I’m not sure about him. It’s not my responsibility to be like, ‘Hey, you should probably reach out to your kids. There’s a hurricane coming our way.’ "

The two then talk about how Mackenzie is “disappointed in the father he is being now.”

Later, Mackenzie is hanging out with her three kids when she asks them if they’ve heard from their dad recently.

“Dad doesn’t answer my calls no more,” Broncs says.

“Me either. Dad never answers me,” Jaxie says.

“He answers Gannon, but not me,” Broncs adds.

“I don’t even have to call dad. He calls me,” Gannon admits.

Jaxie says the last time she spoke to her dad, he promised to come to one of her cheer competitions, but he didn’t follow through.

“The first time that he left, when you guys first got divorced, that’s when I first started knowing,” Gannon tells Mackenzie.

“Knowing what?” she asks.

“That he don’t stick up for what he says. Don’t trust his word,” Gannon replies.

“What I want is for Josh to be more involved in their lives, but he’s just not. These kids love their dad but Khes is also dad now and he is consistency and he’s been solid for two years. Josh and I were together for 10 years. I can’t even tell you a month that my kids had something that was solid.”
