The Challenge's Nany González Calls Rumors That She Cheated on Ex-Fiancée Kaycee Clark 'Absolutely False'

When speaking to PEOPLE ahead ofThe Challenge All Stars: Rivals’ premiere last week,Nany Gonzálezdeclined to commenton her breakup with castmateKaycee Clark. But as rumors that González cheated on Clark while filmingRivalsstarted to bubble online, theReal World: Las Vegasalum decided to clarify what happened between her and her ex-fiancée.

“Hey, so this is honestly so sad,” González, 35, wrote on her Instagram Stories on Monday, Feb. 3, over a screenshot of a commenter suggesting she cheated withMelissa ReevesonAll Stars. “I know I don’t owe anyone any sort of explanation, but not only is [this] comment absolutely false, but it’s also very disappointing someone would stoop this low to make such a claim.”

Clark and González announced on their Instagram Stories on Saturday, Jan. 25, that they"decided to go our separate ways"aftergetting engaged in September 2023.

“Kaycee and I still have so much love for each other and it is truly SO sad to see the amount of people who absolutely pretty on the downfall of others,” González continued on Feb. 3. “I will continue to live my life, unapologetically, while you continue to speculate. Just don’t be such an asshole.”

“I just don’t have time for that,” she said.

González and Clark first met while filmingThe Challenge: Total Madnessin 2019 and explored their connection two years later onThe Challenge: Spies, Lies and Allies,which Clark won. Clark spoke onThe Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras, which was filmed in 2024, about wanting to win the prize money to pay for her and González’s wedding. González expressed a similar sentiment in the premiere ofRivalson Jan. 29.

González ended up paired withSurvivor Turkey’sTurabi “Turbo” Çamkıran, who she got sent home onThe Challenge: Ride or Dies. But she didn’t want their disagreement to keep her from winning the $300,000 prize.

“When it comes down to it, I didn’t choose this game. I didn’t choose for him to be my partner, but that’s just the way the cards are dealt,” González told PEOPLE. “So if I have to swallow my pride and sit him down and get on the same page just so I know that, when it comes down to it, we’re able to at least work together and do what we need to do as a team to get to the end, then that’s what I’m going to do.”
