A new stage show based on Suzanne Collins' beloved book and Lionsgate’s blockbuster film adaptation will open in London this October, producers announced on Thursday, Feb. 27.

No casting has been announced yet for the stage show, but Matthew Dunster will direct.

For a preview of what to expect, producers released a video to Instagram on Thursday showcasing workshop footage of Charlotte Broom’s choreography, Kev McCurdy’s fight direction and the eye-opening fly work from Suspended Illusions.
“You are going to see a massive spectacle,” McCurdy said. “Everything that you see [in] the film itself is great, it’s huge, a lot of it is CGI. This, you’re going to see live. It’s going to blow your heads!”
