TheMarvelous Mrs. Maiselstar, 45, and the Broadway actress, 33, tied the knot in “a small Jewish ceremony” at Palma restaurant in New York City on Sunday, Jan. 12, a rep for Damiano confirmed to PEOPLE.

PEOPLE also reached out to reps for Zegen for comment.

Theater publicistChelsea Nachmanshared photos from the winter nuptials on her Instagram Stories on Sunday.

In one image, the bride and groom can be seen embracing under a chuppah in a flower-filled courtyard as their guests looked on. Another shows Damiano posing with some friends in her white wedding dress, which featured sheer sleeves adorned with lace and a sheer back with satin button details.

A third photo offered a glimpse of flowers and candles on display at Palma, which is located in N.Y.C.’s West Village neighborhood.

Zegen previously revealed to PEOPLE in a 2024 interview while promoting his role inStrategic Love Playthat he had gotten engaged to Damiano. He referred to her as his girlfriend at the time, before correcting himself to say “fiancée.”

The pair were photographed together with Richard Kind at Roundabout Theater’s 2020 Gala. They later made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2022Tony Awards. Damiano and herSpring Awakeningalums performed at the award show’s 75th iteration, while also supporting Zegen for his playTrouble in Mind, which was nominated that evening for best play revival.

A source told PEOPLE at the time that the twowere “inseparable all night.““They were hanging out with each other in the corner of the bar and looked really happy,” the insider said. “TheSpring Awakeningcast was all very friendly with Michael.”

The couple lives together, according to an interview with theJewish Telegraphic Agency. They also share adog named Iggy, according to Zegen’s Instagram.

Though they keep their relationship pretty private, theBoardwalk Empirestar wished Damiano ahappy birthday on Instagramin May 2023. “HBD to this gorgeous ray of sunshine 🌞 🎂 🎉,” he captioned a photo of his now-wife. Zegen and Damiano appear to enjoy traveling together. They have been toLondon,France,PragueandAmsterdam, per their social media.

Along withStrategic Love Play, which opened on Nov. 10 at Audible’s Minetta Lane Theatre, Zegen’s acting résumé includes appearances in the television showsRescue Me,Girls,The PenguinandThe Walking Dead.
