At theend of the year, I take inventory of the clothes I rarely wore and the pieces that I couldn’t stop wearing. I donate the former and tell everyone I know about the latter.

In recent years, the clothes I’ve reached for the most have beenstaple piecesthat don’t sacrifice comfort for style — and 2024 was no different. I bought multiple versions of acute, cozy crewneckfrom Aritzia, which I paired with everything from leggings to denim shorts to trousers. I’m a longtime fan of Quince’s ultra-soft (and affordable!) cashmere sweaters, and this crewneck is my absolute favorite. It has a slouchy fit that’s far from frumpy, and it’s great to layer over T-shirts and turtlenecks on extra cold days. Abercrombie Essential Oversized Hoodie

I became obsessed with Abercrombie & Fitch’s sweatshirts this year because of their soft fleece lining. This red hoodie is my most recent buy that I’ve been wearing weekly, and I love that it’s designed with a slightly faded look to give it a vintage feel.
